Another weekend trip for the books, another outfit diary! This past Christmas, David and I decided that we would each get each other a weekend trip in lieu of a traditional gift. (After all, when you think about it, the cost of a 3-day getaway roughly equates to that of a designer handbag.) First up? My gift to him: a trip to Austin! I wanted to choose somewhere we’d never been before, and had heard nothing but good things about the city, especially the food scene. We did end up eating really well (even though it was so hard trying to jam everything the city has to offer into just 4 meals!), but I personally found the city lacking in terms of non food-related activities. In the end, we were able to fill the time outside thanks to the stunning 70º weather, and overall had a good time! Next up is David’s gift to me!
