Wow, what a difference a week makes. To think that just seven days ago, I was blissfully sitting on the couch, prepping the next day’s blog post without knowing all that was to come in the wake of coronavirus — even in just a few hours, as my company announced last Wednesday that we should all immediately begin working from home for an indefinite period of time. I recognize that I’m fortunate to be in this position currently — taking video calls in my sweats and rolling out of bed at 8:30 since I no longer have a long commute into the city — and understand that that is not the case for many people. For those of you who are unable to social distance, I appreciate the tough circumstances you’re in. Things are going to look different for a lot of people for a long time, but I’m hoping things can stay the same around these parts — and hopefully this is the one and only time I’ll need to address this.

Nothing brings me more joy than formulating and concepting outfits, even if only for myself. So that’s what I’m going to continue doing (safely). I recently joked with David that one of my best blogger skills is finding isolated photo locations in semi sketch areas with nobody around to witness us documenting my outfits. It’s definitely going to come in handy during this uncertain time!

On a lighter note, I can’t wait to wear this outfit for real around other human beings sometime in the future.
