Take a peek inside my front door and in any available closet space, and it’s pretty clear I have a shoe problem. Like, a big one. Every season, I’m on the hunt for fresh pairs to replace the ones from seasons past, and these beauties right here are my new go-to boots for fall. When Great Mall invited me down for their Hello, Shoes event, I was excited to discover everything they had to offer. They’re home to a huge selection of shoe brands and stores, which is perfect for someone like me, who enjoys the thrill of the hunt almost as much as the end product. I’ll admit, I originally had my heart set on a pair of Vans, but in the end, wanted to challenge myself to dig deep for something that’s harder to come by. What I landed on were these perfect leather boots, complete with tortoise shell heel, sitting on the bottom shelf in the sale section of Saks Off 5th. I usually have a strict nothing-above-3-inches heel height policy since I do so much walking to and from work, but I’m not exaggerating when I say these are the single most comfortable boots I have ever owned.
