Even though this outfit is still neutral in tone, I feel like it’s one of the bolder ones I’ve worn recently, and a good example of how you can still make a statement with no color. The buffalo check is oversized (a pattern much larger in scale than I’d typically opt for) and coupled with the olive baggy cargo pants on bottom (rather than something more expected, like black or slimmer fit pants), it’s definitely a lewk.

January is usually my chill month with nothing going on, but things have been crazy these past few weeks. I have quite a few outfits lined up, but just haven’t gotten around to photographing them yet, so bear with me! This is also the time I partake in my annual no-buy January tradition, but just couldn’t make that work (had to take advantage of some really incredible post-holiday sales while I could!), so instead, we’re doing no-buy February! It’s my third year doing this, so feeling pretty confident in my ability to keep my credit card dormant — plus, February is a short month 😉.
