I’ll take a “dress down” situation over a “dress up” one any day of the week, but with the holidays around the corner, I can’t help but get excited for all the parties coming up— and the chance to get dressed up for them. While normally I’d go for a flirty frock, this year I’m really digging the sleek, sophisticated, and even edgy vibes of a body-con midi in a sea of the standard sequins, metallics, and voluminous silhouettes. Paired with equally edgy gunmetal jewels (which I can’t get enough of at the moment) and perhaps a black mani and vampy lip, you have a look that’s not your standard.
