While I’d like to say that last week’s hiatus was a fully intended digital detox to celebrate my birthday, the truth is that I was feeling so under the weather that we just didn’t get a chance to leave the house (or the bed for me) to snap some photos.

Thankfully, I was at 100% again just in time to ring in 25 with a little tropical retreat in Hawaii. While I used to spend every summer on Oahu as a kid, this was my first time back as an adult, and David’s first time in general. Needless to say, this trip was all about discovering the local gems that have popped up on the island in recent years, as well as showing David around my tried and true favorites.
