Another birthday, another celebration in Hawaii! We rung in my golden birthday (I turned 28 on the 28th!) on my favorite island. We hit up our favorite spots from last time, but were also able to work in a few new-to-me places as well (full list below for reference). But I have to say, the highlight of this trip was definitely our stay at The Laylow. We decided to splurge this time around, and the luxury was well worth it. A fun little backstory: when we were in Bali back in November, we stayed in an Airbnb during the Canggu leg of our trip. The place was gorgeous (you can see a tour in my Bali story highlights on Instagram), but after one too many amphibians and one VERY LARGE spider, I vowed to only do hotels in tropical locales going forward. Happy to report there were no critter encounters in Hawaii 😅.
