Back in September, I was invited to a special dinner with La Prairie at the de Young Museum. It was a luxurious and intimate experience (we got the museum to ourselves!) with a skincare brand I didn’t know much about. But one of the most memorable moments of the night was seeing an outfit on a fellow attendee that inspired me so much, I immediately vowed I would re-create the entire look for myself. That’s how this camel suit look was born. I love when women decide to forgo the typical predictable dress in favor of a jumpsuit, suit, or trousers for an event. Pro tip: if you want to stylishly stand out in a crowd, don’t wear a dress.
I already had the blazer (last seen here), so next up was finding a pair of wide-leg trousers or palazzo pants to color match it to. The woman I saw wore her two-piece set with tan slides for a more casual look, but it works just as well with kitten heels. This is a little more dressed up than what I would normally wear to work, so already filing it away for my next evening event.
