Couldn’t miss my favorite weekend activity— brunch (this time at Park Tavern in Washington Square). Appropriately donned my favorite casual combo at the moment: these jeans and some carefree sneaks. I won’t lie, I am loving this minimalist trend that has been slowly but surely sneaking up on us, pun intended. Whether it’s classic Converse, Nikes, or printed or textured skater slip-ons, this is one trend that’s here to stay. this is such a lovely outfit. i like how you sort of roughed it up with the distressed jeans and chucks. i don't like it when preppy looks look to clean and perfect, so really a fan of the way you styled this look.

I completely agree! Not a big preppy dresser myself, so had to add some casual elements!
