A shirt and shorts set is my favorite thing to wear on those chill summer days when I’m just leaving the house to grab a coffee or run an errand. The difference, though, is that this summer, I’m embracing more color. I’m going full green — not just olive! I’ve had my eye on this set since last fall, but didn’t feel ready to commit since it’s an investment and it would just be sitting around unworn for the winter. But then, I found the shirt on Poshmark earlier this year for a steal and decided to get the shorts to match. I’ve already worn this set countless times, with the pieces together and separate. I even ended up hemming the shirt (myself!!!) after taking these photos to make the length a little shorter on my petite frame. I find that longer shirts can look awkward on me when worn with pants, so now that it’s altered, I’ve multiplied the outfit possibilities. Learning how to sew this year has really come in handy!!!
