Surprisingly, I have quite a robust collection of denim skirts. I find them incredibly easy to wear (style them exactly like you would a pair of jeans!), and they bring an element of unexpectedness to an outfit that you wouldn’t get with just a normal pair of jeans. For petite gals, I’d recommend going with an elongating column silhouette with the slit placed either along the side or in the back of the skirt — that way you create that clean, unobstructed line from waist to feet. I do always like showing a little leg though, so having a slit is a non-negotiable for me!

I can’t believe we’re hitting April so soon — this year has flown by! With just a few more months to go until the wedding, we’ve been in the thick of finalizing details. Almost all of our vendors have been contracted (just the cake left to go!) and our invites have been sent. All that’s left is to take care of the smaller details, like ordering my wedding band and wedding day accessories, ordering the guest book, framing pictures for the welcome table, and figuring out an outfit for the rehearsal dinner.
