I realized that I’ve developed a go-to look when it comes to holiday parties: a long-sleeve body-con dress and heeled booties. It may sound simple, but unexpected details are really what this look is all about. Last year, it was the gunmetal details. And this year, while I’m recycling the ankle boots, it’s the mock neck, keyhole cutout, and leather elbow patches that are the name of the game. Throw in a ribbed texture and thigh-high double slits and I’m ready to rock.
