Back in 2020, I wore this outfit that I still love and would 100% re-create today, but sadly the shorts no longer fit me! I went back and forth for the past two summers about whether I actually needed a similar pair of longer linen shorts, and I finally caved and re-added one to my wardrobe. Turns out, linen shorts really are a summer staple. I’ve been wearing them non-stop and have no idea why or how I resisted for so long. I do wish they were an inch longer for more of that bermuda silhouette like my previous pair, but this mid-length is flattering for petite gals and offers more versatility with shoe pairings.

Speaking of shoes, I got a targeted Instagram ad for these exact sandals and pretty much purchased them on the spot. I love that they’re a daintier take on the fisherman sandal trend, and they’re SO insanely comfortable — I honestly could have gone down a size but wanted to wear them immediately and didn’t have the patience to exchange. That’s when you know something’s good!
