File this outfit under things I wish I could wear in the Bay Area without getting weird looks. I wore this sheer skirt out to dinner when I was visiting my sister in LA and again in Mexico City and nobody batted an eye. I bet I could also easily wear this in NYC or Vegas. But here in NorCal, fashion-girlie looks just aren’t a thing, sadly. I’ve always loved a sheer look — even before the trend blew up this past year (this look still remains one of my all-time favorites) — so this outfit feels very me. Here’s to wearing what you want, when you want, regardless of what anyone else thinks!
