Taking a page out of my friend Tienlyn’s stylebook today with this off-the-shoulder situation. As ironic as it may be for a style blogger, I’m pretty cautious when it comes to testing the waters with new trends. It stems from a fear of falling “fashion victim” — a concept I was pretty familiar with throughout middle and high school. After years of trying all the trends (and sometimes all in one outfit), you definitely become more discerning — perhaps overly so.

But you’ll never know unless you try. And while wearing a white button-down shoved off the shoulders might not be a recurring element in my wardrobe, it was certainly fun to experiment with for a day. What are your thoughts on this styling trick?
