Hello! I’m back! We spent half of October on our honeymoon in Japan, so I took some time off from regular outfit content. I did, however, create a ton of other content around our trip, which you can see on Instagram! Fall in Japan was much warmer than expected (seriously, it was literally shorts weather), so I didn’t get to break out my colder weather clothes, which I had been looking forward to. It’s also still a bit warm in the Bay right now, so my knits and coats are going to have to wait for a couple more weeks.

This all-black outfit was actually one I packed for Japan as a dinner outfit option, but didn’t end up wearing. The problem is people in Japan don’t really get dressed up for dinner like they do here! Locals are on their way home from work, while tourists are on their way from sightseeing, so it’s all very casual, even at nicer establishments. A bit disappointing for someone who loves having an excuse to get dressed up!
