A few months ago, I moved into a new role at POPSUGAR that requires occasional face-time with clients. Shortly afterwards, I flew out of state to attend my first client-facing meeting. Considering this was a first for me, I had absolutely no idea what to wear. Obviously, working in fashion allows me more creativity with my office attire, but it also means that if I meet with clients, they have full right to really judge me based on how good my outfit is, as it’s a reflection of my work as an editor.
